why do people set a deadline for their collab?its a bit stupid cuz that way some people that are slower at flash wont finish their parts. and the ones who finish their parts wont do them as good as they could.
They set a deadline for their collab so the collab could be finished. And if the one who makes the collab says that there is no deadline, then those who joins can just wait, and it's not sure that it would be finished.
yeah but they can say that the deadline is going to be set when the collab is almost finished.

Yes, they can, but then some people maybe don't check the forum when the deadline is set or something like that... I did like you said, I started with no deadline, and set a deadline when many people was close to finished. I accepted those who was a bit late too, but when I set a deadline, I know that they who haven't started will start when they see that I've set the deadline ;P
I'll maybe participate in your collab when my collab is released. I'm going to check it out :)
